Flashback to my past - items of importance

So for my research studio class, i had to compose a final project that had to do with the idea of "things", significant "things" in my life. I produced a video through which I flashback to a time when an object was new or a significant time. This is a metaphor for trying to cling onto the past, but the items aren't letting me. Salutations, childhood.

A Video About Bacon and Filters

If you like bacon you'll love this! If you like weird you'll love this! If you like trippy colors you'll love this! All scenes were filmed in my dorm room or in my dorm building!

"Film, Me, and the World"

The Concept of this photo is controversial, but simple in my terms. As of right now, i feel as if i want to do fil from around the world, through what means or when it will happen or even if it will even end up happening I have no control over.

The Chicago Bean, Art.

"Collaborative Fireworks"

Collaborative piece with a few people at my school including me. I made the original basic fireworks sketch and we switched drawers a few times and this is what we came up with

"Thinking About Time"

Project for Research studio - We had to make a "body map". Now we learned that maps don't neccessrily have to be roads or locations, but can be taken in any way you choose. Ever seen stranger than fiction? Well i am harold crick (will ferrell). I counted time, things and people i see and what i did for 14 consecutive days and arranged those numbers and ideas into a brain fashion and put them all together in a sideview of my profile. Couldn't go anywhere without my pedometer or notepad to tally on and so glad i'm done!

"Chicago Theater without the Sign"

So i created a photoshopped image of what the chicago theater may look like without the big sign in front! Amateur, but hey, whatever.

ZOHAN Laser Cutout

Original picture, bitmap image, and final copy. Created the outline on adobe illustrator, took away the background, then put it in a laser cutter that made it into the exact shape i bitmapped it on cardboard like a cookie cutout

"Charades" and "I've Always Been There" Comparison

Two differently edited works, the second one is the same piece, but i put this one through illustrator (see previous post). Besides the image quality in the second one, what do you think?

"I've Always Been There"

Using the photoshopped multi-layer picture i made before, i used illustrator and a hard copy of something i wrote "I've Always Been There" with core values i live by that made more sense before seperated in their up-and-down form.

"Green Blight" (copyright to green giant)

Photoshop assignment tweaking with the green giant design

"Charades"

Used with photoshop to create multiple layers from 4 photographs. I call it charades.

"The Last Party" (Copyright to the last supper)
